Here is some information about my math class.
Students have a NOD that they have to complete daily (the number of the day). It consist of different questions about the number, such as if it is odd, even, and so on. They also have to explain why the number fits the answer.
The students also have to keep up with work and all their assignments in a notebook. The notebook is graded twice each nine weeks, once at halfway point and then at the end of the semester. This counts for two test grades a nine weeks.
Home work if recorded daily in their agenda books. Students will also be responsible for make up work on their own. It is found on the bulletin board.
