ART III: ADVANCED ART
Prerequisites: Pass Studio in art with B or Higher. Transfers from another school may provide sample of art work.
Course Description:
This course explores a variety of techniques in the areas of cartooning and Animation such as: character creation, comic design, animation and caricature. All art experiences are based on the elements of art (line, shape, color, form, texture, space and value) and how these elements are incorporated in works of art. This course is enriched and reinforced with thinking skills development and multicultural education art activities. All students will be required to maintain a journal/ sketchbook.
