Wednesday, February 8th 
Introduction to Shakespeare!  Who is this man?  What did he do?  When did he live?  Why do we study him today?
Elements of Drama – Define and discuss the elements of drama to use while reading the play – (worksheet to be completed in class; terms will appear on the unit test)
Complete the Before You Read activity sheet while reading page 732.
Prologue = Group Work: Paraphrase an opening from this famous play in order to understand how to read Shakespeare! 
Character List: In your groups, fill in the “house sheets” based on your character lists.
Homework: Study drama terms and prepare for the Act One test.

Thursday, February 9th
Drama Terms Quiz –Test your knowledge of the terms for this unit!
Read, analyze and evaluate Act One of the play, Scenes One – Three beginning on page 736.  Take notes from the board and answer oral study questions that will be given to you in class.
Homework: Complete any reading that was not finished in class.  Review your notes.

Friday, February 10th 
Discuss study questions and review Scenes One – Three.
Read, analyze and evaluate Act One of the play, Scenes Four – Five beginning on page 752.  Take notes from the board and answer oral study questions that will be given to you in class.
Complete questions 1-8 on page 762.
Homework: Complete any reading that was not finished in class.  Review your notes.  Be prepared for your test, which is on Monday.

Monday, February 13th 
Complete a PACT-style test on Act One of the play.

Tuesday, February 14th 
View the video version of Acts Two – Three of the play.
You will complete a test that will go along with the video.  This test will be completed as you view the video version of the play.  It is important that you are in class, on time during this portion of the unit so that you do not have to arrange a separate viewing time.

Wednesday, February 15th
Complete the video version of Acts Two – Three of the play.  You will complete a test that will go along with the video.  This test will be completed as you view the video version of the play.  It is important that you are in class, on time during this portion of the unit so that you do not have to arrange a separate viewing time.
Get into groups and discuss the print versus non-print productions of the play. 
Complete your worksheet that coincides with the video.

Unit assessment and creative writing activity.
