A little bit that I would like to share about myself. I am 24 years old and am graduating May 3, 2009 from the University of South Florida. My major is in Exceptional Student Education with Varying Exceptionalities(ESE) K-12 with an endorsment in English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I will also soon be certified in Elementary Education K-6. I have previously interned in other schools throughout Pinellas County ranging from elementary to high school levels. I have also tutored at many of the elementary schools in Pinellas County including Northwest Elementary School and Campbell Park.
I consider myself a very caring, outgoing, and dedicated individual which further led me to the decision of majoring in this area. Born in Maryland, I moved to New Jersey at the age of 3. After living there for 7 years, my mother moved my two older brothers and me to Saint Petersburg, Florida where I finished out the remainder of my school years. After graduating from high school I attended Saint Petersburg Junior College for about 3 years and took my time in deciding on which direction I wanted to go with my life. From the junior college I transferred to the University Of South Florida to pursue my degree in becoming a special education teacher. I am compassionate about what I do will work with students and parents to create a fun and exciting environment where exploration and academics will take place.
