About Us

Ms. Christine's Info:

This is my 16th year teaching at Christ Community Preschool.  I teach music to all ages in the preschool and I have taught 2s, 3s, and 4s.  However, I must confess that 2s are my favorite!

Family – I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 29 years.  We have a son and a daughter.  Our son, Jared, is a graduate of East Carolina University and is now a City of Durham police officer. Our daughter, Jessica, is a sophomore at Johnston Community College in the Bioprocess Technology program.

Hometown – Charlotte, NC.  I am a true southern girl – lived in the south my whole life!

Favorites Colors – Pink or Purple

Favorite Animal - Dogs

Favorite Food – Just about any kind of seafood except for oysters.

Favorite Fast Food – Chick-fil-a

Favorite Treat – Peppermint Patties

Favorite Drink – Mountain Dew, but I usually drink water.  

Favorite Book - The Bible

Favorite Children’s Book –   Good Night Moon.  I read it to my children often at bedtime.  Sweet memories!

Favorite Sport – Not much of a sports fan but I like to watch my son play rugby and my daughter swim. 

Hobbies – I love music, especially contemporary Christian music.  I also love creative ways to worship such as dance, drama and sign language.  I am the co-director for a local dance ministry for children 5 years old up through adults.

This is my 4th year at Christ Community Preschool. I have really enjoyed every moment and am looking forward to this upcoming school year!

Family – I have been married to my husband for 11 years we have three daughters, ages 8,11 and 16, they keep us busy!!
