My name is Christy Newell. I received my bachelor degree from Elmhurst College in English. I graduated from Aurora University December 2005 with my Masters in Elementary Education. This is my third year teaching 3rd grade at Freedom. I am married and have two children. My son Ryan is 11 and is a sixth grader at Ira Jones Middle School. My daughter Megan is 7 years old and is a second grader at Lincoln Elementary.
