Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education Cirriculum Guide and Course Outcomes
Cirriculum outcomes help teachers, students, and parents in identifying what students are expcected to gain from completing a specific course. Similiarly, outcomes are in place to indentify what students are expected to know at specific periods or stages of their educational experience. For this core french course, of the language arts division of learning, there are five broad course outcomes outlined on page 15 of the link posted above. They are:
- acquiring information
- experiencing creative works
- understainding cultural inluences
- using language learning strategies
