Going to the Fair
My Sister, friends, and I were going to the fair. The first ride we rode was on the spaceship. It felt like the spaceship was in the air. The seat we were on was bouncing up and down. I felt like I was going to be ejected out of the seat.
The second ride we went on was the Big Dipper, a water slide ride. I remember being at the top of the big slide looking down and thinking what a long drop that was! “Maybe I should get off,” I said to myself. Too late, the ride began to move, and I clenched onto the handrail.
After that, we were soaking wet and hungry. We walked to the locker room and changed into dry clothes. Then headed over to the food court. “What are you getting?” asked my sister. There were so many choices, but I decided to get a burger with fries and some ranch sauce. I like to dip my fries into ranch sauce.
When we were done eating, we went on the long train ride around the entire park so our food could digest some before another bumpy ride. That ride lasted 10 minutes and we got to see all the rides in the park including the haunted house.
Finally, we made our way over to the haunted house with the longest line I have ever seen. It was as long as 10 dinosaurs standing in line or 20 school buses with children yelling to get in. We finally got into the haunted house and my heart was beating very fast. It was dark with eerie noises and dark figures lurking in the shadows. Spooked creatures would pop out and try to grad us along the way.
It was getting dark and we were getting tired, so we decided to head back home before we hit traffic. We stopped by the locker room to get our belongings and use the restroom then headed to the parking lot. I would remember this day as one of my best time with family and friends!
