Our Classroom Website

Welcome!

My name is Kaitlyn Clear and I am so excited to be teaching Fourth Grade in room 122 this year! Check back daily for updates with homework, events, and class lessons.

Upcoming EVents:

  1. Library Day- Don't forget your books! 10/13

Weekly Lesson Objectives:

  • ELA: We will learn how to cite evidence using the RACE response model. We will debate about characters as we read and prove our ideas with evidence.

  • Math: We will extend input and output tables using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Please check your child's agenda book for specific homework assignments.

  • Science and SS: We will continue to do experiments to learn about the Water Cycle! Our test will be Thursday, October 13.

Homework:

Your child will be given homework from Monday-Thursday. This will include a daily reading log and comprehension questions and a math page relating to our unit of study. Homework should take no more than 30-40 minutes to complete. Although not typical, occasionally a special project will be given that may require some attention over the weekend. Please know that you or your child may contact me any time until 9pm via email or cell phone with questions or concerns about homework. I am here to help! Students are expected to record homework assignments in their agenda book each day. You can also find all assignments listed on the class website.
