Arrival – just a reminder that all students should arrive as a walker, biker, buser or drop off in car loop. Too much traffic from walk ups causes delays in our day. Our students know our routines and we have safety patrol and staff inside and out to assist. We realize there will be days where projects have to be delivered or business handled at the front office in which we invite you to park and walk in. However, for safety reasons we cannot accommodate students coming through the front doors. Parking on Sunlake is no longer an option as cars will be asked to move by the onsite officer and administrative staff. Thank you for partnering with us to keep campus traffic flowing and safe!
Arrival Reminders: Our morning car line is wide open! We encourage you to use the drop off line to get our kids in the building and ready for our day. School starts at 8:10 and kids should be in the building no later than 8:05.
ALLERGY FREE TABLES- please be sure that students who are "peanut free" do not bring any nuts in their lunches. Allergy tables are designated in the lunchroom and are "nut" free not just peanuts - cashews, corn nuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts and other snacks are not allowed to be eaten at those tables. Staff will take them from students for safety.
Parent lunch guests – beginning Monday, August 27th parents may check their child(ren) out for lunch as long as the adult is listed on the emergency card. Guests and students may eat lunch at the picnic tables in the old bus loop area or go out to a local drive through during their lunch times. Students must be signed in and out through the front office. While we would like to accommodate guests inside we do not have the space to separate our large volume of guests from our students and classes.
Happy May Birthday to...
Happy Summer Birthdays to...
Please remember to have your child bring a water bottle to school EVERYDAY. Having a water bottle in class cuts down on classroom disruptions and loss of learning time. The water bottles are also used at PE.
Please remember to pack a snack for your child everyday if you wish them to have one. If you would like to donate any snacks for the classrooms that would be greatly appreciated.
If you have not sent in a change of clothes in a ziplock bag to keep in your child's backpack please do so. Accidents and spills happen and this way we can be prepared.
