IN THIS PROJECT, YOU WILL CONSTRUCT A MODEL OF THE INTERIOR OF THE EARTH. THIS MODEL WILL BE MADE USING PLAYDOUGH.  THE MODEL MUST BE NEATLY CONSTRUCTED, LABELED AND SCALED APPROPRIATELY.  THE MODEL MUST SHOW THE FOLLOWING STRUCTURES:

 

  1. CRUST
  2. LITHOSPHERE
  3. ASTHENOSPHERE
  4. MANTLE
  5. CONVECTION CURRENTS
  6. OUTER CORE
  7. INNER CORE

 

USE GOOGLE TO RESEARCH EACH OF THE STRUCTURES LISTED AND WRITE A BRIEF DESCRIPTION ( 1 PARAGRAPH ) ON A SEPARATE PAPER THA WILL BE TURNED IN
