Lesson Plans

Plan for Week One:

DAILY:

  • Devotion: Read the scripture I posted, or watch the YouTube clips and respond to the prompt I give you in your devotion journal, or participate in family devotion time and prayer.

  • Read at least thirty minutes. If you need book ideas, reach out to me and let me know. (narrate twice) Look in the Fun ideas section of the website for a fun BINGO reading challenge.

  • Practice your oratorical selection.

TWICE THIS WEEK:

  • Complete two of the math lessons this week. For this week, this means completing the lesson plans I will send you for 7.1 and 7.2. Don’t forget to have your SRB at home, but you also have access to the online SRB with links to helpful videos J

  • Work on the first two activities in your Door in the Wall novel study packet. These are the dictionary detective activities for chapters 1&2 and the vocabulary study activities for chapters 1&2. We will start reading this novel together next week.

  • We are starting a new Fiction Writing unit! Complete pages 2&3 in one of the writing booklets. If you want to reach out to me to tell me about your choices, I would love to hear from you.

ONCE THIS WEEK:

  • Read the Echinoderms packet in your science binder and complete the activity page. If possible, watch the video I sent in the plans.
  • Complete pages 149-150 in your vocabulary books
  • Read the Packet called “Monks and Hermits Reject the World” in your history binder.
  • At least once this week, sign up for a time to reach out to me so we can talk. I will post a SignUp Genius so you can pick a time to call me or FaceTime me.
  • Practice Keyboarding J
