Safety while using email and the internet is important, and there are several precautions you can take in order to protect yourself and others.
The following image from www.catshill.com is a great way to remember how to stay safe online.
1. Keep private information private.
2. Do not meet up with people in which you have only met online.
3. Only accept email from people you actually know or trusted sources.
4. Make sure information is reliable.
5. If you feel like you are being cyberbullied or threatened, cantact an adult.

The below image from www.gcsepod.com warns of phishing. Phishing is when people or groups of people try to trick you into giving them your personal information. For example, someone may send an email posing as your bank asking for private information. However, most businesses will never ask you for your personal information through an email.
