About Me

Hi! My name is Mrs. McNeese and I'm very excited to be a part of the Special Education team at Clearwood Junior High School!  I am thrilled to be your child's teacher, and I'm looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventures!  I can't wait to learn all about your children, but first a little (maybe a lot) about me.

I was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and I moved to South Florida when I was 5 and then, at the age of 15, I moved here, to Slidell, LA.  I went to college at Southeastern University and then a few years ago, after being a stay at home mom, I wanted to pursue my dream of being a teacher.  I got my Bachelor's Degree at the University of New Orleans (UNO) and I am currently working on getting my Master of Arts in Teaching Degree (MAT).  This is my first year teaching and I am looking forward to having a great year with my students.  I have previously worked in another school as a paraprofessional for 4 years in special education.  I am a wife and a mom to 2 kids - Kinzly (4) and Beau (11).

I am excited about this school year! Let's make it Great!
