In-Patient Department is a separate department in the hospital where Inpatients are treated.
An in-Patient is a patient which is admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Patients are kept in the hospital under observation and then treated accordingly. ipd full form Or The patients are under observation after the major operation.
And when the patient is not admitted to the hospital for treatment, that department is called(Out-Patient Department).
