The Holocaust (1939-1945)

The Holocaust
At the height of Nazi control there were more than 1,000 ghettos and dozens of concentration camps across Europe
"By 1945, the Germans and their collaborators killed nearly two out of every three European Jews as part of the "Final Solution," the Nazi policy to murder the Jews of Europe."
The largest and most known of these camps is Auschwitz where nearly 1.1 million jewish people were forced to face horrific treatment from the Nazi regime.
