PE Unit of Work Assessment and grading

My Body and how I take care of it
 Assessment task

In class we have discussed four health issues that can impact our body systems:

·        Nutrition

·        Physical exercise

·        Heart disease

·        Tobacco

We have looked at various posters and advertising material relating to the topics. Because we have learnt so much about these areas, the NSW Department of Health have asked our class to create a poster or pamphlet to teach other students about one of these topics. You should choose one topic to create a poster or pamphlet that includes:

·        General facts about your topic

·        How does this topic relate to the body?

·        What are the positive or negative consequences of the health choices made in your topic? E.g. Eating healthily will help to build a better body.

·        Where can people go to find more information about your body?

Think about other posters or pamphlets that you have seen. How were they set out? What information did they contain? Try and keep these in mind when you create your poster or pamphlet.
