What is not included in an In-Home Consultation?

Service requests, troubleshooting, repair, delivery, setup and/or installation are not included in an In-Home Consultation. Please refer to or any of those needs.

How do I schedule an In-Home Consultation?

The easiest way to schedule an appointment is by calling 1-800-548-0828. You will reach an In-Home Operations Specialist who will ask a few questions about your specific needs and schedule the home consult with a Best Buy In-Home Advisor.


How is this different than Geek Squad service offerings?

Geek Squad services are engaged to fix, repair or install a solution that has been in most cases identified. The In-Home Consultation services allow the customer to see what is possible and to design and determine a personalized solution for their own home. The In-Home Consultation helps with the design of a solution. Geek Squad services may be deployed to implement the solution.
