Horizon Elementary--Opening Fall 2013.
Horizon Elementary was proposed and designed to become a Pk-5 feeder school to Walker Creek Middle and Winter Park High. This process lead to the construction of a 71,000 SF building that includes a state of art Media Center,Instructional Television Studio, an Olympic-Size Swimming Facility, and an enclosed Gymnasium.
Administrations:
Mr. Ken Cherry—Former Principal of Furman Elementary in Baltimore, Md. Mr. Cherry hold a B.A. from Slippery Rock University and a Masters in Administration from John Hopkins University. He is the father of two adopted sons and loves to travel in his spare time.
Mrs. Anne Perez—Former Asst. Principal at Alta Vista Elementary in Haines City, Florida. Mrs. Perez holds a B.A. from Warner University and a Masters in Administration from Nova Southwestern University. She is a mother of two daughters, Sammy 9, and MarieAnne, 11.
