APRIL
IWIA students are busy preparing for our many May performances! Students in Grades 5, 6, 7, 8 will be auditioning for our Talent Show in April. The Talent Show will be presented on May 23, with 2 performances of the same show at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Families are welcome to attend either or both performances.
Band students are presenting solo and ensemble pieces to be presented in a Spring Recital in May. Stay tuned for more information about this fun performance!

Kindergarten students will perform during their Stepping Up celebration on May 25.

Imagine Wesley was well-represented at the Atlanta Hawks v. Philadelphia 76ers game on February 12! IWIA Music Specialist Ms. Kara Post led the Honor Choir in singing the national anthem prior to tip-off as our students appeared on the Jumbotron! The Honor Choir included 50 students from grades 2, 3, and 4 who had passed a singing audition and attended extra rehearsals to prepare for the performance. The appearance was also a fund raiser for our music program, earning $5 from every ticket sold to IWIA families for a total of over $600! Thank you to our PTA and our families for supporting Ms. Post and the choir by attending the game! Our students received many compliments from the Hawks staff, and we have already been invited to perform again next season.
