It is important for every teacher to teach these everyday skills besides the regualar course information. These are the things the things that students can relate to in their everyday lives. I remember that in high school i was so excited to show my parents that i could do something in a class that i would later use in life. It is important for a student to know not only the course content for a well rounded education but real life skills they can use. High school is supposed to prepare you for the real world and college but many schools fail to do this and kids are left lost.
