What is Netiquette?
Netiquette is the appropriate way to communicate on the Internet. Digital citizens should always speak in the appropriate tone while communicating via the internet. Listed below are a few technology communication tips:
- Never Communicate with another person in an aggressive manner
- Always speak in a nice and easy tone.
- Always make sure that your grammar and punctuation is up to par. (This is critical)
- Spell check should always be used before you send an email or turn in a document.
- Spell check will also eliminate punctuation errors as well.
- When you are responding to discussion questions in a school or work setting, you should always be considerate of others.
- Not everyone has the same thought process as you or personality. Think before you respond.
- Don't talk about any other subject matters outside of the lesson or topic at hand.
- Don't divert from the topic
- Never share information on the internet that has nothing to do with your class
- People may have different opinions than you and that's okay.
- Don't bash others for their responses.
