Hi! My name is Kimberly Alley and I am a 5th grade teacher. I have been teaching fifth grade for the last 9 years, all of them at Illini Central. I will start my 10th year of teaching during the 2017-2018 school year. I graduated from University of Illinois at Springfield with my Bachelors degree in Psychology with a teaching certificate. I was born and raised in Lincoln. I live with my family in Lincoln. My husband’s name is Dwayne Alley. He owns a barbershop/hair salon downtown in Lincoln named D-Fade’s Master Stylist. We have two boys named Evan and Bryson. Evan will be 6 years old and is in the 1st grade. He loves ninja turtles, playing on his swing set, swimming, and baseball. Bryson will be 4 years old in September. He loves Batman, dinosaurs, and playing outside. They have 3 fish of their own that they love to take care of. We also have a dog named Gizmo. Both of our parents live in Lincoln as well. I enjoy swimming, going on vacation or small trips with our boys, watching Cardinal baseball, watching Bulls basketball, shopping, and playing outside with my boys. I coached high school softball the past 7 years but decided to give it up after this past season. I will miss it but will enjoy the extra time with my growing family. I am also the science fair coordinator for 4th and 5th grade. I love being a part of the Illini Central staff!
My name is Sarah Liesman. This is my 8th year teaching at Illini Central and my 10th year teaching total. I grew up in Delavan, Illinois. I moved to Mason City in 2009 when I married my husband Clay. Together we have two children, Caid (5) and Kinsey (3). We live on the farm that my mother-in-law grew up on. Our family has two dogs, Tuff and Scout. My son has a rabbit, Fluffy. As a family, we also raise show pigs. In my spare time I like to read, sew, scrapbook and garden.
