My name is Erika Minehardt-Quick and I have been teaching here at Schalmont for 9 years.
I am also a PROUD alumi of the Schalmont Class of 1988.
Not only do I teach in this fantastic district, I also live here.
I have been teaching for a total of 18 years, and have my MSEd in Elementary Education and as a Reading Specialist.
I have been married for 10 years and have 4 beautiful children ranging from ages 8 to 3...the 3 year olds are twins. :-)
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending quality time with my family and close friends.
Most importantly, I LOVE MY JOB!
Kindergarten is my passion and I lose myself in the children I am teaching. It is so exciting for me to watch the children learn and grow. The look of amazement when I present a new lesson is a feeling I just can't put into words.
