COMMUNICATION OPTIONS:

  • Remind App (iPhone & Android app)
  • TEAMS (part of Microsoft Office 365)
  • School Messenger (make sure all of your school info is up to date)
  • Both ATLAS and Clever have links to Office, TEAMS, and BigIdeasMath.com

INFO:

  • You are being monitored while you are online. 
  • Inappropriate words and gestures will be flagged.
  • Attend the sessions to which you are assigned just like you would if you were actually at school.
  • Attendance will show when you checked in and when you checked out.
  • Don't be late to class.
  • Don't wait until the last second to try to connect to TEAMS.
  • Be prepared.
  • Have everything you will need set up in advance.
  • Don't check out early.
  • Send a message using the Remind app if you lose your Internet connection or power.
  • Don't be dishonest about Internet access or power because it is possible to check these to make sure they are legitimate.
  • Resources and taped lessons will be available on TEAMS if you are absent or just need to go over it again.
  • Most of the homework will be on BigIdeasMath.com which you may access through your Clever login.
  • You should create a student account for DESMOS because we will be using it for activities, info, exit tickets, and assessments.
  • Your DESMOS student account should be the first and last name in ATLAS.

  • You will also be using Class Codes in DESMOS to join activities, which will be provided to you as needed.
  • Testing will be online and will have time constraints during distance learning.
  • You will be responsible for keeping notes of every class session.
  • Your notes should be organized by date, chapter, section, and problem number.
  • There will be notebook quizzes online periodically.
  • There will be a paper test covering everything we have gone over online when we are back in a physical classroom.
  • You will be able to use your notebook for the paper test when distance learning is over.
  • Your notebook is very valuable for many reasons and should be well organized and maintained.
