To my students, I am a second grade teacher, role model, and friend.
I knew I wanted to teach at a very young age. I grew up in a household where by the age of ten, I was put in charge of watching, feeding, and caring for my two baby sisters. This is where I developed my love and passion for working with children. I started college at the age of 16 and quickly became an education major. By 18, I was working full time as a para-educator at a public elementary school. As I begin my 5th year teaching in the Penfield Central School District, I am excited to share that I am almost finished with my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
