Continue to practice numbers 1 through 5.

  1. A straight line down is lots of fun, that's the way to make a one.
  2. For 2 go right around and make a line across the ground.
  3. Around the tree, around the tree, that's the way to make a three.
  4. Down and around and down once more, that's the way to make a four.
  5. Down and around and then you stop, draw a line across the top.      
  6. With a curve and a loop there are no tricks, that's the way to make a six.                                                          

 Last week we read about bats, and wrote words about bats in our bat shape book.  Please have your child read this to you.bats  We learned that bats  use "echolocation" to find their food.  A bat is strong enough to hold his body upside down.  Bats eat fruits, flowers, insects, frogs, and fish.  A bat can eat more that 600 mosquitoes in one hour.
