Additional exercise:

After you finish this exercise invite somebody in your house like your Mum or Dad to hear you practice speaking the words you've wrote. Just ask them to stand at one end of the room while you are at the other end. Practice by reading the sentences strong and loud so they can hear.

Also if you would like me to mark your paper before you practice speaking or maybe you would like my answer sheet so you can practice with just the speaking part using the English I use then simply email me: mrmartinjohns@yahoo.co.uk.

Tips:

  • Always have a thesaurus and a dictionary. (www.dictionary.com is an excellent resource to check your spelling and it has a very good thesaurus page all in one webpage).
  • Search google and the internet for adjectives. Simply type adjectives and hit the return button.
  • Remember to put the adjectives before the nouns.
