Hello! My Name is Marilyn Bastin. I teach at East Elementary School in Roosevelt, Utah. I am coming up on my second year of teaching third grade. I have a B.A. in Liberal Science with a concentration in Sociology. I worked in the mental health field as Mental Health Educator for many years before teaching. I am currently working on my teaching certificate for the state of Utah. I am about half way through with the program. After, I am planning on obtaining my Master’s degree in Education. I enjoy traveling and spending my time with my family. I am married to a wonderful man named Harold. He and I have two super fun girls. One of my daughters is in middle school and the other is starting Kindergarten soon. It is exciting being able to not only be a part of their education but of the education for children.
