Students are expected to say their memory verse to me by Friday of each week. If you child is absent, they will need to say it on the day that they return to school.
1 John 5:3
Loving God means obeying his commands. And God’s commands are
not too hard for us.
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword...
Joshua 24: 15
“…As for me and my family, we'll worship God."
God will show his mercy forever and ever to those who worship and serve him.
May 1 & May 8
Lift up your eyes on high
And see who has created these stars,
The One who leads forth their host by number,
He calls them all by name;
Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power,
Not one of them is missing.
(We will work on this verse in class, and the students will have 2 weeks to learn it.)
And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
1 Timothy 4:12:
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
