My name is Mrs. Lafleur. This is my 8th year teaching at Savanna Ridge Elementary School. I spent 5 years teaching Kindergarten and this is my third year teaching 2nd grade! I'm origionally from Rhode Island, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and History from the University of Rhode Island. I graduated in May 2010 from Florida Atlantic University with a Master's Degree in Reading Education K-12. I moved to Florida 7 years ago to escape the cold weather. My husband and I live in Port Saint Lucie with our two dogs, Riley and Jo Jo, and our cat Ellie. In December, my husband and I are expected the arrival of our first child, a baby girl! When I'm not in school, I enjoy cooking, boating, playing with my animal babies, and napping!
