The carline schedule above is for individual students. Should you have multiple school age children, please plan to pick up all of your children at their earliest dismissal time. For example, you have one preschooler, one 3rd grader and one 6th grader. You would plan to pick up all 3 of your children at the 12:00 carline (the preschooler’s pick up time). Parents with preschoolers: please have your older child join the preschooler at noon in carline. Please send a note to both teachers so they will plan accordingly. Should you have any questions, feel free to call to the front office. Please be aware that you will be asked to loop around if you get caught in the carline procession too early. And, as always, should you need to sign your student out early, you must sign out through the front office no later than 15 minutes prior to your student’s assigned carline time. We appreciate your patience!
Chapel:
At FCA, students have the opportunity to be chapel leaders. You are welcome to join us any Wednesday at 9:30 for the lesson and singing. Parent Day Chapel is usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and is always posted in the monthly Panther Press. On this day, one or two students from each class are recognized for their attributes. Birthdays for the month are generally acknowledged on the last Wednesday of the month.
SWINE FLU
Everyone shares concern about the spread of the Swine Flu. The FCA teachers are trying to stay on top of germs by spraying down surfaces with disinfectant. The office staff continues to encourage parents to keep ill children home for at least 24 hours after the last symptom of an illness. We all have to be responsible to help protect our children. We have hand sanitizer in the classroom but I would like to suggest that packing a personal size bottle of hand sanitizer in your child's lunchbox can provide extra protection in keeping down the spreading of germs for not only Swine Flu, but other illnesses as well.
*Just a gentle reminder to please pack napkins, spoon and forks, as needed in your child's lunchbox.
Upcoming events for getting involved:
BACKGROUND CHECKS
Just a reminder, if you have not completed a background check form, they are available in the front office. Please see Ms. Alice. There is a ten dollar fee that can be paid with cash or check. If you wish to attend fieldtrips or any special events at school you will need to complete this form. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We want to keep your children safe and happy!
