Hello Families, if your child was in the Title 1 Reading program last year and you would like them to receive some extra reading help while distance learning, please contact me. For Grades K-5, we have a limited amount of Fast ForWord online reading intervention program product licenses, so we want to make sure our students are very dedicated and committed to using the program 3-5 times per week for 30 minutes at home. If you are interested in having your child participate in this program and learning more, please contact me.
Fast ForWord is an evidence-based, adaptive reading and language program that can be used remotely. We use this program, in addition to our SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) in Title 1 reading.

If you have received notice that your child has qualified for reading intervention through the Bobcat Book Buddies Reading program, you are in the right place!
Bobcat Book Buddies is a reading intervention program created using tier 2 intervention services based on the RTI (response to intervention) framework. In the Book Buddies program, your child will receive an additional 30 minutes of reading intervention using SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words), a research-based decoding intervention program designed to develop independent, fluent readers who read with accuracy, automaticity and prosody. The SIPPS program will be providing a structured literacy approach to foundational skills instruction through explicit instructional routines focused on phonological awareness, spelling-sounds, and sight words. We also use the Fast ForWord Reading Program in addition to SIPPS for some of our students. Fast ForWord is an evidence-based, adaptive reading and language program that can be used remotely.
