All About Me

All About Mrs. Warren

"Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."  - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hello! My name is Christina Warren, and I am currently teaching 5th Grade Reading/Language Arts & Social Studies at L.M.E.S. This will be my 8th year teaching. I taught in middle school for 5 years, and elementary school for 2 years. I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in Social Justice. I have a husband who is an Army veteran, and a daughter who just started Pre-K here at L.M.E.S.

I am so excited about this 2017-2018 school year. The Emerson quote above really exemplifies what I believe about teaching and learning. My goal is to motivate and inspire students in innovative, engaging ways. In so doing, I also aim to cultivate creative and critical thinking in my students. I want to continually create opportunities for my students to think for themselves. Our expectations are high in my classroom, and we work very hard. However, in the end, we are changed, as learners, as leaders, and as people.

I cannot think of a better way to spend my year than learning and growing with you.
