About me

My name is Becky White.  I teach sixth and eighth grade science at Van Buren County High School.  I am a 1995 graduate of White County High School.  I recieved my Bachelors degree in Education from Tennessee Tech in 1999.  In 2006 I graduated with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and then in 2008 I graduated with an Educational Specialists Degree in Supervision and Instruction both from Tennessee Tech.

I am married to Matt White.  He is a captain/paramedic for the City of Cookeville Fire Department.  In addition he is an EMT/Paramedic Instructor for Tennesee Tech University.

Together we have one son, Logan, who was born in November of 2006, and one dog, a blacklab named blackjack.

In my spare time I like to scrapbook, ride our motorcycle, visit amusement parks and go to sporting events and concerts.  I love all kinds of music, with the exception of rap.  My favorite group is Bon Jovi, but I also have a great love for many other "Hair-Bands" from the 80's.
