Including each other
In 5th grade, we did an activity to start our class. We walked around as music played. When the music was stopped groups were formed in the # called out. Example: three- students form groups of three If there is a group of less or more than the # called out, they are out. After we finished the activity, we talked about how it felt to be out right away or pushed out of a group. The students talked about different situations that they may have felt left out in the past and how easy it is to leave someone out. We ended the class by parterning up and giving compliments to each other and coming together as a whole class and not a small group.
