Flat Teacher is on its way!
Families -- Be on the lookout for a special letter for your child in your mailbox in the days ahead. Each child is receiving a Flat Teacher! The idea is for your child to take his/her teacher on some adventures (see below for ideas). Then, take a picture and write about the adventures. Send all pictures/writing to your child's teacher via email. We can't wait for some fun adventures with our 1st graders!

You can print this journal prompt for your child to complete. If you cannot print, no worries! Have your child type an email describing the adventure or simply write about the adventure on any piece of paper.

-Listen to this story being read aloud.
-Print out these colorful cards 2 TIMES. You can print in color or black & white. Cut them apart then play Memory Match. If you can't print them out, make your own cards.
-Nature walk scavenger hunt, cut & paste, writing prompt
If you can't print it out, look at the sample and make your own!
-Earth Day math story problems
No need to print. Read the stories on the screen then solve them in a notebook or on scrap paper.
