About Me

Hello! I am Racquel Gardner and I am super excited to be working with Gulfport Central Middle School again this school year. This is my 6th year working with the district. This year I will be an 8th Grade Math Teacher. I am also the founder and chief sponsor of Esteemed Queens Society- an adult led sisterhood amongst adolescents aimed to cultivate healthy perceptions of self and a culture of uplifting positivity.

I am a graduate of the forever great HBCU Xavier University of Louisiana (class of '14 GO XU!!!) with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry and have received my license to educate through the University of Mississippi's Teach Mississippi Institute. I am currently obtaining my Masters in Social Emotional Learning from National University.

Just like the students, Ancora Imparo- "I'm still learning"

It is my desire to push each student I encounter into his or her fullest potential. I truly believe that each person that I encounter, young or old, has an invaluable existence and someone somewhere is depending upon them owning and living up to this truth!

As an educator, I will do my best to help the students at GCMS to discover and live out the greatness that is already inside of them.

Bring your "A" game

Here's to a great year! :)
