Volunteer Hours

  • LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR YOUR STUDENTS? Want to help out yourself? Here is your chance!!! My name is Sarah Comroe, and I teach U.S. History at Rancho High School. In addition to being a teacher, I am heavily involved in the volunteer community here in Clark County. Most specifically I work with a few organizations that work with kiddos with special needs (mostly Autism).

Thank you for your time.  Please have any students OR teachers interested in helping out fill in this form:

  • I run an after school program about 1.5 miles from Rancho High School. The program is in Summerhill Apartment Complex, and the kids who live in the apartment complex come to our program twice a week for free tutoring, mentoring, and Bible studies. Our program is almost entirely volunteer-based, so we have a lot of appreciation for all who come to serve the kids! Most of our volunteers commit to coming once or twice a week to hang out with elementary students and help them with their homework. Here are the days/times that our program runs:

Monday: 4th-5th tutoring 2:30-4:00

6-8th tutoring 4:00-5:00

Tuesday: 1st-3rd tutoring 2:30-4:00

6th-8th Bible study 4:00-5:00

Wednesday: 4th-5th tutoring 2:30-4:00

4th-5th Bible study 4:00-5:00

Thursday: 1st-3rd tutoring 2:30-4:00

1st-3rd Bible study 4:00-5:00

If you think any of your students would be interested in volunteering with us, please give me a call at 702-204-8773 or respond to this email, and I would be happy to provide you with more information and volunteer applications. Or, if you prefer, feel free to pass my info along to students and have them contact me directly.
