About Me

Hello! My name is Miss Selena Rangel! I am 25 years young. I will be your child’s 4th grade Reading teacher for the 2016-2017 school year! This will be my 5th year teaching and my second year teaching at Rosemont Elementary.

 

My Childhood

I grew up in Seguin, Texas, where I attended Jefferson Elementary, and Vogel Elementary for Kindergarten through 5th grade. I then attended Mary B. Erskine 6th grade Center followed by Briesemeister Middle School for 7th-8th grade. Finally, I graduated from Seguin High School in 2009.

 

My Education

In May of 2013, I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Reading  and English from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Master’s Degree in Education in June of 2015. This December 2017 I plan to graduate with the University of North Texas with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I am certified by the state of Texas to teach Early Childhood-6th grade and have a Gifted and Talented Educator Certification.
