Joel Gilbert lives in East Burke with his wife, Rachel.
He graduated from Cornell University with a BS in animal science and a concentration in education.
He has two grown children, Jim '15, and Aurora '18.
His hobbies include gaming (D&D), martial arts (jiu jitsu especially), and chess.
He has been teaching science for over 22 years (20 at Riverside).
