This week we will work on creating a community of learners. We will develop rules and routines to use through out the year.
We will learn how self monitor our reading and what to do when we are having trouble with something we are reading. We will also learn how to pick out a book.
We will begin our addition and subtraction facts test this week. We will begin with plus and minus zero facts. We will have the subtraction test on Thursday (every week) and the addition test on Friday (every week).
We will begin our with our Math Unit 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 will be covered this week. We will also review skills covered in First Grade.
We will not have a spelling test this week, but we will work on couting syllables and we will use our classmates names to do this.
