MS thesis work on Effect of yeast cell mutants on the enzymatic responses of digestive and defense system of germ free Artemia challenged with Vibrio.sp. Ghent University, Belgium.

  • Gained hands-on experience in protein & enzyme (trypsin, phenoloxidase) measurements using bio-chemical methods.
  • Achieved practical knowledge in live feed culture & bacterial strain culture.
  • Practical orientation with spectrophotometer, laminar flow & assay reagents.
  • Had sound knowledge in research design; sample collection, analysis & reporting.

Research Assistant

“Low Cost Prawn Feed Development Project” under Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology Discipline, Khulna University, Bangladesh, founded by Support for University Fisheries Education and Research Project, UGC-DFID.

  • Gained practical and theoretical knowledge in prawn feed formulation, prawn nutrition & biological responses to isonitrogenous diets.
  • Worked with fish farmers & local NGOs
  • Project monitoring, sample collection, analysis and reporting.

Under graduate project work on Biochemical evaluation of Pangasius hypothalamus stored in ice and at ambient temperature. Khulna University, Bangladesh.

  • Gained practical skill in measuring TVB-N, TMA-N and pH of fish samples.
  • Had theoretical and practical knowledge in bio-chemical changes occurred in fish stored in ice and at ambient temperature.
