Please use my website to access all information sent home in student packets. Please know that you can reach out to me with any questions you may have via email email@example.com or our Class Dojo.
It is very important for your child to continue their lessons during this time for continuity of learning. The lessons are available on my website or you can pick up a folder of the materials at Wilbur Watts during the times listed below.
Upon returning from spring break, assignments have been created using choice boards. Please have your child choose one activity from each choice board per day for a total of three daily completed assignments. They can also access IXL (ixl.com) using their log-in information that was sent home. Please also use our other classroom websites on My Links listed to the left of this page. Below is the link for choice board assignments.
REVISED - Meal Service
Meal Service will continue next week but will be adjusted. Meal pick-up will be Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at BCHS only. The BCPD will continue to deliver meals to our satellite sites Monday to Friday. Please update your teacher webpage to reflect this information.
Old Packet Drop-Off (work completed before Spring Break)
Students/parents should return all packet work completed through April 9th this week (Monday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). We are asking for packets to be returned in a sealed Ziploc bag with the student’s name and teacher’s name clearly written on the top page (of each packet). We will have bags on site in case packets are not returned sealed. We will let the packets sit for five days before we organize and distribute to teachers for grading. SSS and BCHS students should return packets to the BCHS Cafeteria. CJL and WWIS students should return packets to WWIS.
We are close to finalizing a grading plan for the Fourth Marking Period. The administrative team will meet to review the draft plan on Monday. We will then meet with CBEA leadership to discuss the plan. When ready, we will submit the final plan to the BOE for approval. Please remember that there is no perfect plan for this situation. We must continue to be flexible, fair, and as understanding as possible. Although this plan will provide a basic framework, your professional experience and judgement will be critical to ensure that it works well.
We will begin using Google Classroom as of Monday, May 4th for classroom assignments. Please do not worry. We will be here to answer any of your questions and guide you through the use of this platform.
Please stay healthy and safe during our emergency school closure.
