Reminders

*Please send a note for any reason your child may be absent or late.

*Our classroom is usually warm, but please remind your child to bring his/her school sweater. Sometimes a cool draft makes its way into our room or another area of the school.

*Library is Tuesday.

*Wednesday is gym day. Please wear the appropriate uniform.

*Your child is responsible for copying homework each day.

*Your child is responsible for taking home any materials needed for homework.

*Any classwork not completed in school needs to be completed as homework.

*Please make a plan with your child for studying. I will send books home, but I do not like to send a lot home on one night. If you want to study over the weekend, I suggest writing a reminder note in your child's planner so he or she will know what materials to take home.

Our If sending in a paper order, send back the order form with the completed information and a check made out to Scholastic.  (If you ever want to order books as a gift, just let me know and I will keep it quiet for the surprise.)Scholastic class code for on line ordering is MGR89.  Keep in mind you may order from any area of the Book Club, not just the flyer that was sent home. You may order on line at any time

SCHOLASTIC ORDERS ARE DUE January 11

Homework Policy

  1. Students are responsible for copying homework daily.
  2. Students are responsible for taking home materials needed to complete homework. Students are responsible for returning completed assignments and materials to school on time.

Many thanks to those who have sent in tissues, wipes, and paper towels. We could still use more wipes and tissues. Keeping ahead of germs is a full time job.

Reflex Math is a fun way to become fluent in your facts. Go on whenever possible. First in Math, Reading Eggs, and Think Central also offer some great practice and review in various skills.

In case of a snow day, please have your child practice math facts. Any method would be just fine. I also request you have your child study any subject area. Chances are you have one or two school books at home. Think Central provides our reading and science materials on line.
