Mrs. Campbell's Class Kicks Off The Week Of...

5/11/20 - 5/15/20

Dear Families,

It's hard to believe that the school year is almost over!  That said, this will most likely be the last class website I send to you. It has been a pleasure to be your child's teacher this year, and every one of your children have made it a memorable year for me!  Thank you for all the support you have given to me throughout the year, especially during these trying times.  I have been blessed to have such a wonderful class.

No New Tabs This Week.

No new resources added this week.

Registration - If you haven't registered your child, please do so ASAP.  The deadline was May 1st!  Please refer to Mr. Lindberg's email titled "cheat sheet" for directions.  Here are the links you can click on to get to the online registration.

We will have a Google Meet on Friday, May 15th (probably our last Google Meet) at 11:00 am.  I will send you a link via email about 5 - 10 minutes prior to the meeting.

I believe CCSD is still going to continue the distance learning packets through the summer.  I'm not sure right now about whether or not they will also be distributing food.  As of now, the distribution sites are open 7 - 10 am.

Students should continue to work on during the summer to keep up with their learning.

I am packing up each student's supplies from his/her desk.  They will be put in a large bag and labeled with my name and your child's name.  Your child's kindergarten certificate, yearbook and/or class T-shirt (if you ordered them) will be placed in the bag as well.  You will be receiving an email with the time and day you are assigned to come to school and pick up your child's belongings.  You will go to the parking lot and find my car that will have a big sign labeled with my name.  All of the bags will be placed by my car.  Just look for your child's bag with his/her name on it.  However, due to my having some underlying health concerns that are directly associated with COVID-19 AND taking care of my mom who lives all alone with stage 4 lung cancer, I will have to socially distance myself at the time of pick up.  I will be remaining in my car and will not be getting out but will wave to you and your child through the window.  I hope you will understand my situation.

Please respond immediately to the google forms I will be sending you as the two-way communication for your child's attendance.  I will be sending one home on May 11th AND on May 18th.

The school district will be mailing home report cards via US mail over the summer.

There will be more information coming to you in the next couple of weeks.  The official last day of school is May 20th.  Please keep up to date on reading ALL of my emails as well as those from Mr. Lindberg and CCSD.

If you should have any questions about anything, please feel free to contact me.

Warm Regards,

Mrs. Campbell
