Collaborative Sites for our Classroom

Tween Tribune - We use this site for students to practice reading and comprehension of non-fiction text. Students also spend time learning to create appropriate responses to articles they have read. We also create book reviews of our favorite books and publish them on Tween Tribune.

Glogster - We will be creating rich, multi-media projects that include text, images, sound, and video using Glogster. (REMINDER: YOU MUST USE FIREFOX TO ACCESS GLOGSTER when you are at school!)

ToonDoo - An easy to use website for creating comics, comic books and other activities. Use this site to create ads and comic strips for your wiki magazines. (This site requires you to create a login name and a password. You need to remember these as I won't have access to them.) After you have finished, ask Mrs. Schaben to help you screen-print and use Paint to save your comic in a format that you can use on your magazine site.

Create your own Comix - Use this site to create comic strips for your magazines. After you have finished, ask Mrs. Schaben to help you screen-print and use Paint to save your comic in a format that you can use on your magazine site.

Google Chrome - Use this link to download and install Google Chrome. We use this for any of our Google Apps, including Google Mail, Google Docs, Google Presentations and our Research Project Web Site.
