The Scientific Process

The 6 Step Scientific Process

Purpose- State the problem that you are investigating

Research- State any background research conducted prior to the investigation

Hypothesis- Predict the outcome to the experiment

Experiment- List the detailed procedure by which you conducted your investigation

Analysis- The Results of the experiment, oftentimes utilizing a chart and/or graph

Conclustion- The end learning from the experiment, using RERUN

R- Restate the Problem

E- Experiment, what you did during the investigation

R- Results, and comparing them to the Hypothesis

U- Uncertanties that occurred during the investigation

N- Next time, and what you would change
