My name is Courtney Singleton. I was born in Anderson, SC. My boyfriend's name is Johnny and we have two dogs named Kiara and Bailey. For half of my life I grew up in Anderson County School District 2 with my parents and younger brother; for the other half we lived Anderson School District 3. My Alma Mater is Crescent High School in Iva, SC. After graduation I left my small town and came to the big city of Spartanburg where Converse College resides. For the past 3 1/2 years I have been a student at Converse College and will graduate in May of 2018. Throughout my time here I have taken on many leadership positions as well as jobs. I have volunteered as a Trailblazer Mentor President, Converse Activities Board Representative, Orientation Leader, Leadership Converse Facilitator, a Converse Tour Guide, and an Intern at High Point Academy. I have worked with Cannons Elementary, Palmetto Autism Interventions, Morningside Weekday Preschool, and High Point Academy. I have participated in two clinicals. My first clinical was at Houston Elementary and my second at Hendrix Elementary. After graduation my plans are to obtain a job as an Early Childhood teacher.
