Welcome to the 8th Grade!
We are getting close to the end of the year and it is going to be a very busy finish.
8th grade is going to see the play "The Diary of Anne Frank" at Magnificat High school on Thursday, April 19th. Permission slips and money is due by Tuesday, April 17.
State mandated testing begins next week.
Here are the test dates and other important dates for the remainder of the year:
4/19 - Play at Magnificat
4/20 - Air Reading test
4/27 - Air Math test
4/30 - MAP Reading test
5/1 and 5/2 - Map Math test
5/3 - Niagara Falls trip
5/4 - No school for 8th grade
5/6 - May Crowning at 11 am Mass
5/7 - Book reports due
5/8 - AIR Science test
5/18 - Children's Carnival
5/21 - 7th and 8th grade breakfast with Bishop Perez
5/25 and 5/28 - No school
5/29 and 5/30 - Math comprehensive test, school May Crowning
6/4 - Honey Hut field trip (afternoon)
6/5 - Field Day
6/5 - GRADUATION!!!!!!
6/6 - Awards ceremony, 8th grade breakfast, clap out
The Darlene Brezovksy Scholarship - This is a $500 scholarship offered by the Brezovksy family to the 8th grade graduating student that answers the following prompt the best: If you were to time travel, where would you go? What would you do? Who/what would you search for? Why?
This essay is due NO LATER than Thursday, May 31, 2018
As you can see, we have a busy last quarter ahead of us. It is extremely important that students be at school and on time for this last quarter.
